Soccer environments can be one of the most sexist and homophobic in the world, and in 2021 being gay shouldn't be an insult allowed at matches.

Inspiration

Knowing how important team colors are to fans, we leveraged this passion to encourage inclusion in soccer.

Idea

Danubio is one of the most important Uruguayan soccer teams. Known for its colors black and white, we created a video but launched it completely in black and white a day before the LGBTQ+ parade. On LGBTQ+ Parade Day, after everyone had shared it we launched the same video – but in full color, revealing that the colors that appeared to be black and white were actually the colors of the LGBTQ+ community.

Growth

This powerful message invited everyone to share the video and help make soccer a more inclusive place.
