Coke Studio is a proven recruitment platform for Coca-Cola in 53 markets since 2008. In 2024 they are launching this platform to the Australian and New Zealand market. The objective is to cement Coke Studio into Gen Z culture as the brand most associated to music in Australia and New Zealand, turning Music fans into Coca-Cola drinkers.
Build excitement and intrigue around the artist Tones & I launching Coke Studio, we needed created an IRL moment for Gen Z’s to engage with the artists, the brand and the experience of Coke Studios.
WPP's OpenX, with VML as the event lead created a free event at UNSW, which included an interactive photo moment, AI Album cover activation and stage, AV and branding that encapsulates the ethos of Coke Studio; that Real Magic happens when we come together.
Our interactive photo moment removed the ‘I’ from Tones and I’ stage name, in its place will be a stage which allows buskers, her collaborators, and fans, to complete her name; TONES & _____.
The Event took place at UNSW and consisted of a surprise performance from Tones and I along with a lineup of up-and-coming Aussie performers including Voli K, Yorke and IXARAS.
