An MBA from Boston University, Rohit worked as a banker with a focus on forex trading in London for 2 years before joining Contract, a part of the erstwhile JWT (now Wunderman Thompson) Group in 1990.
Rohit is the Chief Strategy Officer at Contract; and also heads Core Consulting, the marketing & strategic consulting division of Contract . The range of assignments for Core Consulting include growth strategies, business models, mix development, service benchmarking, customer experience, portfolio & architecture, innovation funnels & NPD and marketing plans.
Rohit has a passion for training and has conducted training programs & workshops in the field of strategy and marketing for a number of large companies, some across Asia Pacific; besides being guest faculty at some of the premier management institutes in India.
His white papers on areas of strategy have been awarded the Atticus Merit Certificates, the global WPP recognition for original published thinking. He has been a member of various Effies juries – at India, APAC and the Global Effies; as well as being on the YouTube awards jury.
Over the years, Rohit has worked closely on a wide range of categories and clients that include MNCs like Cadbury/Mondelez, Dominos, British American Tobacco, Unilever, HSBC, Whirlpool, Braun, Philips, Honda, Franklin Templeton and Bata; and some of India’s largest companies including Asian Paints, Shoppers’ Stop, ITC, Wipro, Louis Philippe and Britannia.
Books & music are his favorite haunts, besides his family of course. His wife is a psychologist and counsellor while his daughter is pursing her graduation with a focus on the same field as her Mom.
