Robb’s 20+ year career spans many creative disciplines including brand identity, visual design, digital product development, social media, and advertising. He’s been with VML for 17 years, including a five-year stint as Executive Creative Director of VML London. He currently serves as Chief Design Officer for North America leading the Brand Design group.

Robb led the complete global brand identity refresh of Intel, tackling every possible aspect of its brand expression and identity. He’s also led branding and design efforts for large consumer brands like Spirit Airlines, Ionna, Smartwater, Sam’s Club, Genentech, PWC, and Blue Cross Blue Shield; startups like The House of Marley; financial disruptors like Starling Bank; and the first secular ‘church’ in the UK, The Sunday Assembly.

Robb has also led integrated advertising, digital experience, and social marketing efforts for companies like Bentley, Virgin Active, Xbox, Premier League, Kashi, Microsoft, HSBC, Lenovo, Nintendo, and Colgate. His work defining the strategy, product development, and brand identity design of the Copia social e-reading platform was awarded the Best of Digital WPPed Cream Award in 2011.

Robb has presented and lectured for Social Bakers UK, AIGA, University of Kansas, and KCAI; and his work has awarded by Cannes Lions, Drum DADI, BIMA, the Addys, the Webbys, Print Regional Annual, IAC, OMMA, Communication Arts, HOW Interactive, Medical Marketing Awards, OMNI Awards, and the AIGA Design Awards.

Outside of work, Robb is an emerging board game designer, long-time punk rock musician and bandleader, collector of vintage design ephemera, devoted husband, and cat dad. He can often be found boondocking in his restored vintage camper in the Colorado wilderness.
