Leïla Bouguerra graduated from the Néoma Business School in Management Control and Organisational Management in 1991 and from the DESS 202 in Strategy and Control at the University of Paris IX Dauphine in 1992.

Leïla began her career in 1992 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen France, before joining the daily newspaper Libération as Deputy Financial Director in 1994, when the new ‘Libé 3’ layout was launched.

Leïla then joined the WPP Group and Ogilvy Paris from 1996 to 2012, where she progressively moved from Financial Controller of the advertising agency to CFO of the Ogilvy Group in France.

From 2013 to 2022, at Publicis, she held the position of CFO Europe West DigitasLBi and then Sapient, participating in numerous transformation, external growth and integration projects, at the crossroads of the communications, agile technology and consulting sectors, covering France / Spain, Italy / Holland & Belgium.

In 2022, Leïla Bouguerra joins the WPP Group again, as Group CFO France & Business Partner of Wunderman Thompson France and Velvet Consulting.

In 2023, she was promoted to the position of Emea CFO of Wunderman Thompson. Following the WPP Group's announcement of the merger of the Wunderman Thompson and VMLY&R networks, Leïla Bouguerra has been Group CFO France for the VML Group companies in France, including Velvet Consulting, since January 2024.

Leïla is a hybrid CFO at the crossroads of communications, technology and consulting, a strategic and business partner who helps to build bridges and instil efficiency in constantly changing environments and organisations.

Throughout her career, she has been a member of several boards of directors and executive committees in France and Europe. Leïla is currently also the permanent representative of the WPP Group on the Supervisory Board of the High Co Group.
