This year, VML’s creative initiatives garnered 17 Gold, 16 Silver, and 21 Bronze awards, along with 75 Merit/Shortlist mentions. Among the accolades, VML's innovative "Life Extending Stickers" campaign won both a Green Pencil and a Sustainable Development Pencil, addressing the critical issue of food waste in Colombia, where 6.1 million tons of food are wasted annually, with fruits and vegetables making up 40% of this waste. In collaboration with Makro Supermarkets, the campaign utilized fruit stickers to educate consumers on preventing food waste, suggesting recipes based on the fruit's ripeness, thus extending their life cycle.
Other highlighted campaigns include "Don't Delete Menu" for Wendy’s, which captured multiple Gold awards in Experiential & Immersive and Interactive, Online & Mobile categories, and the "FitChix" campaign for Honest Eggs Co., earning Gold in several categories including Creative Use of Data and Health & Wellness. These campaigns exemplify VML’s ability to merge data-driven insights with creative execution effectively.
Campaigns like "I See Coke" for Coca-Cola and "OREOCodes" for OREO also received multiple awards, showcasing VML’s expertise in integrated and omnichannel marketing.
