The New Accessibility Regulation

Often, when the topic of accessibility comes into the conversation, we hear: “We’d like to look at accessibility, but we’ll tackle it later”. But with regulatory change in force by June 2025, accessibility is about to go from a ‘nice-to-have’ to a non-negotiable ‘must-have’ – by law.

Regardless of where your company is based, if you’re trading digital products and services in EU member states, or if you have an EU-facing digital commerce operation, the European Accessibility Act will apply.
