Hosted at our Marketing Automation & Personalisation (VML MAP) HQ in Copenhagen, some of VML’s brightest minds gathered with Adobe experts for three days of intense collaboration, creative problem-solving, and transformative AI exploration, while leveraging the latest Adobe technology to develop innovative solutions for our joint clients including, Coca-Cola, Nespresso, Shell and more.
The Hackathon was centered around Business as Usual (BAU)
tasks using Adobe Journey Optimizer. Participants were encouraged to delve into a variety of topics including bridging digital and physical user experiences, implementing dynamic content in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and exploring channels like email, web personalization, app push notifications, and more. With a strong emphasis on utilizing geo-location data, the Hackathon also pushed for innovation in recommendations, advanced segmentation, reporting, attribution, and the smart use of AI.
Leveraging main Adobe tools
such as AEP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Target, and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), along with experimentation tools like Mix Modeller and Customer AI, the event called upon the participants to create forward-thinking solutions. The diverse and skilled professionals tackled these complex challenges, aiming to elevate user experiences and marketing strategies through the potent combination of Adobe's technological suite.
The Hackathon connected 28 participants (4 per team) from different roles and backgrounds (Developers, Architects, Data Engineers, Operations Specialists, Experience Designers & Strategists, and Technical Project Managers) from different offices (Austin, Toronto, Dallas, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Copenhagen, Lisbon and Bangkok), providing a vibrant platform for tech enthusiasts to synergize, experiment, and innovate with cutting-edge tools and methodologies, setting a benchmark for future corporate events focused on digital marketing excellence within the Adobe ecosystem.
