Society has always told women how to look. However, these beauty standards affect women’s confidence in their bodies.
Dove believes that beauty should be a source of confidence for women, not anxiety. That is why its campaigns encourage women to develop a positive relationship with how they perceive themselves, helping them improve their self-esteem and realize their full beauty potential.
We created Repair Stories, a documentary series about eight women who healed more profound damages by repairing the relationship with their hair and realizing that, in reality, they were never damaged as society made them believe.
