The annual list celebrates leaders who champion women in business and drive change for gender equality in the workplace
A trio of VML leaders have been named to the 2024 INvolve Heroes Role Model Lists. This list showcases leaders breaking down barriers at work and smashing the ceiling for women within the global business. These inspirational leaders are paving the way when it comes to increasing representation and driving inclusion for others within the workplace.
Mel Edwards, global president and Beth Wade, global chief communications and integration officer, have been featured on the 2024 Top 100 Women Executives list.
David Mitchell, chief technology officer earned a spot on the 2024 Top 30 Advocates list.

Mel is a hugely respected voice in the industry and is recognized as a leader with a proven record of helping marketers anticipate and navigate change. Beth Wade, Global Chief Communications and Integration Officer
Inspired by the impactful careers of women within her family including her grandmothers, she champions gender equality within VML. Beth has facilitated meaningful change and growth as a founding member, chair, and executive sponsor of Ellume, VML’s employee resource network for women.
David recognizes the value of diversity in driving innovation and creativity. He supports initiatives like DjangoFest 2024 (formerly DjangoGirls), hosting the VML table and providing career development insights. David is also a KCTech Council LEGiT KC Program member, which promotes diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
