Who we’re looking for: 

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Social Media Content Lead — a visionary storyteller and hands-on creator with a solid foundation in art direction, design, and content strategy. You’re someone who doesn’t just follow trends but sets them, blending creativity with precision to craft impactful social experiences that drive engagement and build brand love. 

As a creative leader, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team of designers, copywriters, and content creators. You will be responsible for steering the creative direction, ensuring brand consistency, and championing work that is bold, innovative, and always on-point for each platform. What you’ll be doing: 

  • Lead and manage the Social Content team, including art directors, designers, copywriters, and content producers. 
  • Develop and oversee the execution of social-first campaigns and content strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). 
  • Provide strong art direction and creative vision to ensure content is visually compelling, on-brand, and optimized per channel. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, strategy, media, and account management to align content with campaign objectives and audience insights. 
  • Oversee the end-to-end content production process — from ideation and design to publishing and performance analysis. 
  • Create and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent output and seamless delivery of high-quality assets. 
  • Guide and mentor team members to maintain high standards of creativity, craft, and performance. 
  • Lead client presentations and internal reviews, effectively communicating creative rationale and strategic thinking. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to inspire fresh, relevant, and effective social content. 
  • Work with analytics teams to evaluate content performance and evolve strategies based on data and insights. 
  • Support new business opportunities with standout content thinking and creative leadership. 

 

What you’ll need: 

  • Creative & Technical Skills 
  • Proven expertise in art direction and content creation for social media. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visually striking, strategically driven content. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and social design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, After Effects a plus). 
  • Solid understanding of copywriting and storytelling for social. 
  • Ability to work across static, motion, and video formats tailored to platform-specific behaviors. 
  • Deep familiarity with platform best practices, social analytics, and content optimization techniques. 

 

  • Leadership & Soft Skills 
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing creative teams, fostering collaboration, and nurturing talent. 
  • Ability to give and receive feedback constructively, and elevate creative ideas while maintaining a clear strategic direction. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. 
  • Clear communicator with the ability to present ideas persuasively to both internal stakeholders and clients. 
  • Proactive, solutions-driven, and adaptable to the ever-evolving nature of social and content work. 

 

  • Additional requirements: 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation, art direction, and team management, with a strong focus on social media marketing strategies.  
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of social content creators (art/copy).  
  • Strong portfolio showcasing art direction skills, copywriting abilities, and successful social media campaigns.  
  • Enthusiasm about advertising with a real desire to keep up to date with new developments and trends in digital marketing.  
  • Agency experience is required.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and track ROI.  
  • A passion for social media and a deep understanding of its role in marketing
