Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking a Senior Art Director for our Los Angeles office. As the Senior Art Director focusing on social media, you will be responsible for leading the creative vision and strategy for our client’s social media campaigns. You will collaborate closely with our creative and branding teams to conceptualize and execute compelling visual content that aligns with our client’s brand identities and resonates with their target audiences.
What you’ll do:
- Concept | Develop creative concepts and visual strategies for social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok).
- Art Direction | Design and produce high-quality, visually appealing content including graphics, videos and animations.
- Translate | Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all social media channels.
- Craft | Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and digital marketing.
- Collaborate | Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate innovative ideas that drive engagement and achieve campaign objectives.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an agency setting with a focus on social media campaigns.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative concepts and visual executions for social media platforms.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences and best practices.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital and social media marketing.
- Automotive experience a plus

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
