Who we’re looking for:

Reporting to the Delivery Director, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of multiple workstreams and managing budgets from £1-2m. For this role particular experience managing service design and sprint teams within digital & business transformations as well as customer experience is required.

With a minimum of 6+ years’ experience, you will be used to working in a supportive, but challenging, fast-paced environment and relish the prospect of taking ownership of the projects you are engaged in.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Facilitating end-to-end project management, from high level activity planning to final delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure sprint objectives and goals are delivered
  • Define and manage sprint schedules, deliverables, and expectations, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
  • Manage multiple concurrent sprints, ensuring alignment with broader account governance team
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team and deep in the detail of the work, helping them problem solve & collaboratively craft solutions + deliverables
  • Guide the dynamic planning process, prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team
  • Spot warning signs of things going wrong, and provide recommendations or identify the correct point for escalation, to alleviate delivery challenges
  • Accurately scope, estimate and define effort for projects, to create proposals and Statements of Work
  • Resource management: liaison with RM team on requirements across agency skill base
  • Liaison with third party suppliers
  • Financial management of projects. Budget management, time and cost reconciliations, burn and pro-active engagement on potential issues
  • Actively build relationships with clients - understand the client’s business to be able to have discussions confidently, create solutions to meet their challenges

About you:

  • Be an effective communicator
  • Strong understanding of design thinking, agile methodologies, and digital transformation
  • Ideally you have solid experience working with Service Designers
  • Be a confident self-starter, well organised and self-motivated
  • Have exemplary attention to detail
  • Have a pragmatic approach, a willingness to listen and adapt
  • Ability to think beyond the client brief
  • Be a selfless team player who understands the importance of your craft
  • Ability to foster strong collaboration with other disciplines
  • This Client is based in Southampton so there will be some travel involved
