About the role and what you will do:

As our new Data Scientist, you will join our growing Data Science team. You will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to develop data-driven solutions that enhance our products and drive business impact. You will work closely with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate your models into production, ensuring they deliver real value to our customers.

What your first three months will look like:

  • Deep dive into our data ecosystem, tools, and workflows to understand our challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the team to explore, analyse, and model data, contributing to ongoing projects.
  • Research, develop, and deploy machine learning models that improve our product offerings.
  • Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Participate in discussions on best practices for model deployment and scalability.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Science role, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Solid foundation in data collection, processing, and pipelines, using tools like Pandas or PySpark.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (e.g., classification, regression, clustering) and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Strong data visualization and exploration skills using tools like Matplotlib or Plotly.
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with driving projects forward.
  • A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to mentor others.
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with recommender systems or optimization problems.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Background in AdTech or similar data-intensive industries.
