Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking a passionate and driven Associate Copywriter who brings a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and social media expertise to our team. You're not just a writer; you're a storyteller, a brand advocate, and a digital innovator.
What you’ll do:
- Creative Brief Development & Alignment: Translate marketing objectives into compelling social media concepts and copy that deliver on creative briefs and align with overall business goals.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Maintain a consistent and impactful brand voice across all social media channels, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Brand & Marketing Proficiency: Apply a strong understanding of branding, online marketing, and media concepts to develop effective social media campaigns.
Who you are and what you’ll bring:
- Conceptual Brilliance: You possess strong conceptual and writing skills, with a deep understanding of the digital landscape and how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Strategic Copy Development: You can translate marketing objectives into engaging concepts and copy that deliver on creative briefs and align with overall business goals.
- Exceptional Communication: You have a solid command of the English language (grammar, spelling, and vocabulary), allowing you to communicate effectively and persuasively in both written and verbal formats.
- Client Presentation Prowess: You're a confident and polished presenter, able to articulate a clear vision of how your work addresses client problems and requirements set forth in a creative brief.
- Organizational Excellence: You're highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
- Digital Innovation: You can envision creative ways to leverage online ideas and technologies to enhance brand engagement and drive results.
- Marketing Acumen: You possess a solid understanding of branding, online marketing, and media concepts, allowing you to develop effective and integrated campaigns.
- Multi-Platform Mastery: You can seamlessly integrate the "big idea" across multiple mediums, adapting your writing style and approach to suit different platforms and formats.
- Self-Starter: Proactive and takes initiative.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and handles changes quickly.
- Automotive Enthusiast: Passion for the automotive industry (a plus!).
In addition to the above, you'll also have:
- 1+ years of advertising experience in an agency setting, with exposure to both digital and traditional marketing.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Journalism).
