At VML Argentina, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst or Coordinator to join our finance team. This role will be key in supervising and analyzing accounting processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

What you'll do?

  • Support and supervision of monthly closing tasks: bank reconciliations, accounting allocations (accruals, provisions), income and expense analysis, and fixed asset management (additions, disposals, amortizations).
  • Analysis and supervision of monthly account reconciliations.
  • Evaluation of accounting information through comparisons with previous periods and budgets, investigation of variations, and preparation of analytical reviews.
  • Intercompany balance reconciliation and reporting.
  • Implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Preparation of the General Balance Sheet, including notes and annexes, and preparation of working papers and financial statements (Cash Flow Statement, annexes, etc.).
  • Leadership in external audits for statutory balances.
  • Generation of accounting and management reports for the company's management.

Who you are?

  • Degree or near completion in  Accounting, Economy or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting sector.
  • Deep knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Experience in external audits and commitment to meeting deadlines.
