What we are looking for:

VML is seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Producer to join our dynamic Production team. This role is crucial in supporting the execution of innovative and engaging content for our clients. You will work closely with Senior Producers, Account Managers, and creative teams, playing a key role in managing projects from concept to delivery. You will be a key point of contact, ensuring needs are translated into actionable goals for our internal and external resources.

What You'll Do:

  • Project Management: Manage social production needs from concept through final delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with agency teams (creative, account, strategy) to find innovative solutions and bring concepts to life.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between the client and our internal production team, facilitating clear communication and efficient workflows.
  • Timeline Management: Create, maintain, and proactively manage production timelines, identifying potential roadblocks and implementing solutions.
  • Pre-Production Coordination: Ensure all pre-production meetings are effectively coordinated, with clear agendas and actionable outcomes.
  • Feedback Communication: Effectively communicate feedback to editors and other creative resources, ensuring alignment with client expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Delivery Assurance: Ensure all final delivery dates are met, with meticulous attention to detail and quality control.
  • Social Workstreams: Manage and execute various social content workstreams, including baseline social content (cross-platform campaign work).
  • Campaign Support: Provide support to Senior Producers on larger campaigns, assisting with various production tasks and administrative needs.
  • Local Campaigns: Lead local campaigns and one-off requests (TV, radio, social), managing all aspects of production from concept to delivery.

What You'll Need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in production within an advertising agency, production company, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media content production.
  • A strong understanding of the creative production process, from concept to delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A skilled, creative, confident presenter and negotiator.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
