The Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Brand Activation, Recruiter Sales Support team on the United States Marine Corps account. The Account Supervisor supports the Group Account Director, does not have any direct reports, and is based out of the Atlanta, GA office.
Recruiter Sales Support provides all materials to recruiters nationwide in their sales efforts to recruit potential qualified prospects and other various audiences. Materials may range from traditional efforts such as collateral pieces (tri-folds, brochures, pamphlets), to a virtual reality experience, and the management of Marine Corps Recruiting Commands’ mobile application, to name a few.
For this role, the agency is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, proactive self-starter. You will partner closely with your director and many other agency disciplines to ensure efforts are on-time, on-budget, and meet client goals and objectives. As the day-to-day client point of contact, you will be a trusted advisor who can successfully communicate client needs to the broader cross-agency teams. You will be a strategic thinker who sees and understands the bigger picture, while capable of working across short- and long-term deliverables.
What you’ll do:
- Protect the Marine Corps brand, ensuring strategic alignment in everything you do
- Always be solutions-oriented
- Set the tone for the cross-agency teams you work with through a strong work-ethic and positive leadership, capable of establishing trust across agency disciplines, and offering thoughtful feedback
- Have a 360 view of the work and understanding of agency capabilities, so you know who and when to bring in others as needed
- Maintain situational awareness of enterprise level happenings on the USMC account which may impact the Recruiter Sales Support efforts you will manage
- Gain and retain a strong understanding of the entire Marine Corps contract, how it works, how the business runs as a collective unit to remain profitable for the agency, and how your program fit into the bigger picture
- Identify optimizations and bring new ideas to the table whenever possible, focusing on measurement and results
- Communicate with your client counterpart daily to stay on top of requests and deliverables associated with the yearly annual marketing plan
- Liaise between clients and internal team to ensure client requests and feedback are communicated clearly and accurately
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide the necessary feedback to support the program, to include times when agency data or insights may suggest an alternate direction from what clients may request
- Approach challenges or alternate points of view with a professional demeanor, while effectively working to resolve issues
- Excellent at time management and organizational skills
- “Manage-up” to the Director and other agency peers, leaders, etc.
- Proactively update the Director on issues that may arise, such as topics of interest (i.e., challenges, program successes, etc.) that may impact day-to-day efforts and/or the business

What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in a creative agency with a minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience
- Specific experience with mobile application or digital development is strongly recommended
- Attention to detail with demonstrated follow-through on scheduled deliverables
- Ability to travel for business needs when called upon. Travel estimate is 10% or less.
- Passion for building relationships that result in new, profitable revenue opportunities as well as driving incremental growth on existing work.
- Strong understanding of account finance, billing, and adherence to budgets.
- Proven ability to negotiate Statements of Work and contracts – effectively forecasting and scoping work with teams in close collaboration with Project Management.
