The Senior Arabic Copywriter is a key creative force within the agency, responsible for crafting compelling concepts and transforming them into impactful copy in collaboration with Art Directors and fellow writers. Under the guidance of the Associate Creative Director (ACD), they play a critical role in delivering innovative, results-driven campaigns. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including Account Executives, Project Managers, Strategists, and Tech Leads—the Senior Arabic Copywriter ensures all creative outputs align with client objectives and elevate brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Development:
- Develops high-quality, engaging Arabic copy for various platforms, ensuring alignment with creative briefs and campaign goals.
- Collaborates with Art Directors to produce visually and verbally cohesive campaigns across digital, social, print, and broadcast platforms.
- Translates creative concepts into compelling narratives that drive customer engagement and behavior change.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintains consistently high standards of writing, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and creativity in every deliverable.
- Reviews and refines copy from conception to final approval, ensuring alignment with brand tone and voice.
- Seeks feedback from ACDs and CDs, incorporating constructive input to enhance copy effectiveness.
Project & Team Collaboration:
- Partners with cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Account Management, and Production, to ensure projects meet deadlines and creative objectives.
- Actively participates in internal reviews and client presentations, effectively communicating creative concepts and rationale.
- Mentors and guides Junior Copywriters, fostering their growth and creative development.
Innovation & Industry Awareness:
- Stays current with industry trends, digital technologies, and emerging platforms to inform and inspire creative work.
- Proactively contributes fresh ideas and innovative approaches during brainstorming sessions.
- Participates in new business pitches, delivering compelling copy and strategic insights.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Creative & Technical Skills:
- Exceptional Arabic writing and grammar skills, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in crafting persuasive and engaging copy for multiple platforms (digital, social, print, TV, and promotions).
- Strong conceptual abilities, capable of generating and executing ideas across various mediums.
- Familiarity with Mac-based word processing and layout software.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Ability to articulate creative concepts clearly and persuasively to clients and internal teams.
- Active listening skills with a talent for incorporating feedback into revisions effectively.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience mentoring junior creatives Project Management & Problem-Solving:
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment in evaluating creative concepts, knowing which ideas to pursue and which to refine or discard.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of agency experience, with at least 3 years in digital or interactive campaigns.
- Language: Outstanding command of both Arabic and English, with excellent Arabic copywriting skills.
