We are seeking a strategic Group Director,  with a deep understanding of healthcare communication and a passion for driving client growth. This individual should be a collaborative team player who excels at building strong client relationships and mentoring junior team members. We are looking for an innovative thinker with a proven track record of developing successful medical strategies for major client accounts. The ideal candidate will also be a strong communicator who can effectively present complex scientific information to both internal and external audiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of medical strategies for multiple key client accounts, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial goals.
  • Serve as the medical strategy lead for new business initiatives and medical/legal/regulatory reviews.
  • Oversee all medical strategy deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop scientific narratives, promotional lexicons, message architectures, and key message pillars in partnership with brand strategy and creative teams.
  • Conduct and supervise primary and secondary research, including KOL and HCP engagements, to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor junior medical strategists, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (account, creative, engagement, brand strategy, medical affairs) to ensure a holistic approach to client work.
  • Participate in client workshops and presentations, effectively communicating strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership within the disease category and competitive landscape.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum work experience and/or equivalent education to meet the requirements of the position (PharmD, MD, or PhD preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare communication.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage medical strategy projects for major client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of medical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
