In this role, you are a team player who will assist the Finance Team to ensure smooth delivery in all areas of Financial Management and Control. The main duties and responsibilities of the Finance Intern is to provide support to the Senior Finance Manager.

What you’ll do 

  • Support the finance team on day-to-day financial reporting activities in an effective and timely manner & highlighting all material P&L issues. Work and coordinate with account teams to review/action as appropriate
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) to ensure financial controls are sufficient, in place and maintained in line with company Policies and Procedures
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) with management of cash flow and regular monitoring of net working capital
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) with preparation of business unit/ division budgets and forecasts
  • Handle statutory financial reporting including audit and local legislative requirements on a timely and accurate basis
  • Assist the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) in gathering data for statutory and tax audit

What you’ll need 

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Ability to adapt and cope in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel, e.g. vlookup, hlookup, pivot table etc.
  • Problem solving and multi-tasking skills are pre-requisite
