Who we are looking for:
Responsible for connecting the Global Technology & Data Workstreams to client Latam, and supporting the needed deployments/projects and needs that result from it.
VML is looking for a Martech Manager to support our data efforts for key clients in Latin America. The manager will be primarily client facing where they will oversee, manage, and build robust data management solutions required for VML to deliver our full analytical solutions to clients. This individual will be an innovative, problem-solving networker who is motivated to drive data initiatives within Latin America and globally.
The manager will need to collaborate with a diverse team of client leads, data engineers, analysts, designers, solution owners, and various COEs (centers of excellence) in a global matrix structure. Our teams bring together cutting-edge data engineering, advanced analytics, unified measurement products and enterprise scalable engineering to build products that will shape the next decade of faster, smarter, data informed decision-making. What you’ll do:
Scope:
- Latam POC for Global client and WPP teams, representing the region in the Workstreams
- Identify Latam Technology and Data needs that need to be compliant with Global guidelines, vision and objectives.
- Map Technology Architecture AS IS and identified gaps
- Identify the roadmap for Wiring the technology and Data ecosystem
- Prioritize and define who can be part of each project
Key Relationships:
- Global and Regional WPP agencies
- Global and Regional Data & Tech Workstreams within client teams
Client Latam priorities we want this role and team to be the Champions of:

- Martech Ecosystem mapping of Latam

- Identifying Tech gaps
- Generating a Martech Latam Roadmap
Digital ecosystem role:
- Rationalize launches of Digital Properties and Enhance current Ones bringing a clear value for consumers
- Integrate Direct engagement with consumers as a core principal for all our plans.
- Connect O2O platforms and Data to E2E Marketing workstreams
Data:
- Integrating disperse databases for data integration, activation and advanced analytics
- Activate databases generating:
Relationships that generate Value to consumers
Value for our business
Analytics:
- Visualize E2E performance of initiatives (IMX, O2O, all)
- From Audiences, through channels, to CRM, and back.
What you’ll need:
- In depth experience with all things data including ability to work with a variety of datasets from multiple sources, familiar with standard data processing tools/concepts (e.g. SQL, ETL), and experience driving robust QA processes
- In depth experience of the advertising ecosystem (e.g. ad trafficking, Ad servers, DSPs, Media Strategy and Activation, etc.) and a working knowledge of appropriate metrics, measurement, and reporting
- Media agency experience will be highly valued
- Familiarity with the basics of various programming languages (VBA, Python, Java, R) and programming concepts (functions, for loops, etc.) will be highly valued
- Can lead requirements gathering, project planning, and implementation for both cross functional internal data initiatives as well client-side data projects
- Has project management skills including planning tasks and deliverables, managing timelines and risks, managing team resource allocation, and overseeing multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to manage and motivate WT team members
- Organized, detail-oriented, QA-focused
- Experience/familiarity with Multi-Touch Attributions solutions and/or Market Mix Modeling will be highly valued
- Experience with key reporting solutions such as Tableau will be highly valued
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
