As Director of Engagement Strategy, you will redefine healthcare engagement by crafting innovative, data-driven strategies that seamlessly integrate brand, medical, and engagement expertise. You’ll work at the intersection of creativity, advanced technology, and analytics to develop impactful experiences for patients and HCPs. Leveraging insights and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll turn business objectives into measurable success, delivering solutions that engage, inspire, and create lasting connections. 

What you'll do:

  • Strategize with precision: Develop integrated, data-informed engagement strategies for HCPs and patients, leveraging platforms such as CRM, social, websites, marketing automation, and rep-delivered tools. 
  • Master the journey: Build seamless omnichannel customer journeys across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases, incorporating dynamic personalization. 
  • Collaborate deeply: Partner with specialized teams like XD and Health Studios to ensure customer journeys are rooted in innovative design thinking and deliver exceptional personalized customer experiences. 
  • Lead with innovation: Introduce and implement emerging tools and methodologies, including AI-driven personalization, machine learning, and immersive media (AR/VR), to enhance engagement strategies. 
  • Transform with data: Use advanced analytics and measurement frameworks to track performance, optimize strategies in real time, and demonstrate ROI for clients. 
  • Elevate content delivery: Work alongside creative and medical teams to ensure engagement strategies integrate seamlessly with content, messaging, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Execute with excellence: Oversee the end-to-end execution of omnichannel campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and regulatory compliance, including social media best practices. 
  • Build trust: Foster strong client relationships as a strategic partner with our CE teams, delivering actionable, ROI-driven solutions that address their most pressing challenges. 
  • Mentor and inspire: Lead and develop junior strategists, building a team culture of creativity, growth, and collaboration. 
  • Shape the future: Work with XD, Health Studios, and cross-functional teams to explore opportunities in emerging channels, redefining how healthcare brands engage audiences. Stay ahead of social media trends and platform innovations to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and engagement. 
  • Win the pitch: Participate in new business proposals by presenting bold, forward-thinking visions that set VMLY&R Health apart in a competitive landscape. 

 What you'll need:

  • Proven Expertise: 5-8 years in digital engagement, omnichannel strategy, or customer experience, with a strong focus on healthcare (HCP and DTC) and social media marketing. 
  • Social Media Maven: Master of crafting and launching impactful campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, seamlessly weaving social media into the fabric of omnichannel strategies. 
  • Data-Driven Leader: Skilled in using tools like Manhattan Research, ATU studies, IMS data, and social media analytics platforms to inform segmentation, channel planning, and campaign optimization for measurable results.
  • Strategic Thinker: Experienced in crafting digital creative briefs, business requirements, and strategic frameworks for programs, campaigns, and messaging/content development, including social-first approaches. 
  • Analytical Innovator: Adept at translating data—including social media performance metrics—into actionable insights that drive meaningful outcomes.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
