Who we're looking for:

VML EMEA HQ is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Madrid team. You will drive process optimization and data-driven decision-making across our Global Business Operations, playing a key role in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across VML worldwide. You will leverage your analytical skills to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and contribute to strategic initiatives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders worldwide to streamline processes, improve data quality, and support VML's growth.

What you'll be doing:

  • Data Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyse operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement; develop and implement process enhancements for increased efficiency, cost reduction, and optimized resource allocation.
  • Process Documentation & Scalability: Document processes, procedures, and workflows, ensuring scalability and adaptability across global teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams (e.g., People, New Business, Finance, Risk and Controls) to gather requirements, analyze data, and develop solutions.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations, tailoring communication for diverse audiences.
  • KPI Monitoring & System Deployment: Monitor KPIs and support training development and deployment of new systems/processes, including change management.
  • Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools for a global user base.
  • Special Projects & Best Practices: Contribute to special projects and initiatives, leveraging best practices from different markets.

What you'll need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or related field preferred).
  • Business Acumen: Foundational understanding of business concepts (finance, marketing, operations).
  • Communication: Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Tech-Savvy & Process-Oriented: Comfortable with various software and technology tools, including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or data analysis software a plus. Demonstrates a structured and organized approach to work with a keen eye for detail.
  • Continuous Learner & Solution-Oriented: Possesses a strong desire to learn and expand their knowledge, approaching challenges with a positive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.
