VML is searching for a senior UI designer. Self-motivated and possessing a positive attitude, the senior designer relishes in the craft of design systems, interface designs, icon systems, animations/ transitions, micro-transactions, sound design and crafting clickable prototypes. The senior designer has the responsibility and accountability to influence the visual expression of a brand through the expectations of that brand’s users.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Passionately and curiously studies user-centered design principles
- Continuously learns and evaluates existing sites for viewport adaptation, and aesthetic appeal
- Fosters collaborative relationships, plans, and executes in an Agile team
- Influences project level planning and overall design of the user experience for multiple projects
- Collaborates with strategy to define the experience strategy and sets design vision
- Supports and participates in user testing
- Operates well across multiple simultaneous projects

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years digital agency experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Visual Communication, Human-Centered Design or Equivalent in a related field
- Has a basic understanding of digital marketing, and advertising
- Passionate about design and technology
- Possesses strong presentation skills and excels at communicating design concepts to non design stakeholders (internal and client)
- Proficiently wields design tools like Figma or similar wire framing/ design tools
- Commands strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mastery of craft to generate recommendations and concepts
- Possesses a growth mindset and creative problem-solving skills
