Account Managers serve as agency implementers to achieve the client’s brand and business objectives by providing them with activation guidance and by working with the internal team to execute strategies. Account Managers handle the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, estimate/scope development and job execution. In this role, you will implement work from beginning to end while fostering relationships directly with clients and the agency team.
What you’ll do:
- Work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups
- Identify growth opportunities and incremental opportunities with client partners
- Responsible for ensuring conference reports and/or meeting notes are complete and distributed to clients and/or agency partners
- Initiate/draft scope documents and works with team to secure client approval
- Initiate projects within the agency, according to standard kick-off protocol
- Responsible for day-to-day implementation of project deliverables; ensures deliverables are client ready
- Responsible for management of team MLR calendar and submissions
- Collaborate with other agency partners to ensure goals and deadlines are met
- Build on financial management skills, including preparation of billing and monthly projections for review with supervisor
- Gain and maintain knowledge of client’s business, industry, and competition
- Participate in key client meetings including status meetings and VML work presentations
What you’ll need:
- Superior communication skills, both internally and client-facing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow through skills
- Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (marketing, business, communications)
- 2- 4 years of full-time experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media
- Pharmaceutical or health experience is a plus
- Strong interest in technology or digital marketing
- Familiarity with channel activations and multi-channel projects is a plus
