Who we're looking for:

VML Prague is a leading marketing agency (over 300 employees) with a diverse, international team. We offer a friendly, collaborative environment and the chance to work on integrated campaigns across various platforms. We're seeking a talented Mid-level Copywriter to craft compelling narratives for our client. You'll collaborate with other creatives to develop innovative campaigns, from concept to execution.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop original and captivating copy for integrated marketing campaigns across various touchpoints (digital, social, mobile, eCommerce, shopper, print, B2B, etc.)
  • Conceptualise and execute creative campaign ideas that align with client briefs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Art Directors and other team members to develop cohesive and impactful campaign concepts.
  • Present creative concepts to clients using compelling presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides).
  • Participate in client meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on campaign vision.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client’s brand, target audiences, and market trends.
  • Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all copy deliverables.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in copywriting and advertising.
  • Proactively contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within an advertising agency environment (international brands experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to conceptualise and write effective advertising campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of copywriting styles and formats.
  • Experience creating copy for both online and offline channels (including direct communication).
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort interacting with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Keynote and Google Slides.

Who you are:

  • BA in advertising, English language, literature, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a creative copywriter in an agency setting.
  • EU Citizenship or a valid trade license in the Czech Republic.
  • Must be based in Prague or willing to relocate immediately.
