Job Overview:
As an Account Supervisor at VML Vancouver, you will be a critical leader within our account services team. In this role, you’ll work closely with an Group Account Director and Account Director to help oversee client relationships, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and drive the success of major projects from start to finish - primarily on 2 major accounts. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and help strategize and execute campaigns that align with their goals. This position demands strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects with excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing trust and ensuring satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality service and meeting project expectations.
- Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of campaign planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop campaign strategies that align with business goals and enhance brand performance.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of creatives, strategists, and account managers, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all aspects of the project.
- Budget Management: Help oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and transparent financial reporting to clients.
- Growth and Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within client accounts, ensuring alignment with VML’s overall vision and goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-4+ years of experience in account management within an advertising agency.
- Skills: Strong project management, budgeting, and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver results.
