Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a Senior Retail Media Consultant at Newcraft. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of retail media. You will partner with leading retailers across diverse industries, empowering them to monetise their platforms, online and offline channels, and valuable shopper data. This is a high-impact role requiring a deep understanding of the retail landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence and lead.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead Retail Media Strategy Development: Define and develop comprehensive retail media strategies for clients, encompassing both monetization potential assessment and implementation roadmaps. This includes market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and identifying innovative opportunities.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
- Business Case Development and Financial Modelling: Construct compelling business cases to demonstrate the value proposition of retail media to retailers. Develop robust financial models to project revenue streams and demonstrate ROI.
- Project Leadership and Execution: Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timely and effective execution of retail media strategies. This includes coordinating internal teams and client resources.
- Change Management: Facilitate change management processes within client organizations to ensure smooth adoption and integration of new retail media initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal teams, client executives, and external partners.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering their professional development and contributing to the growth of the team.
- Sales & Ad Operations Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Ad Operations teams to ensure seamless campaign management and delivery.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in retail media to maintain a leading-edge perspective.
What you'll need:
- Deep understanding of the retail landscape, including sales dynamics, advertiser-retailer relationships, product activation strategies, and the evolving media landscape.
- Proven ability to construct and present compelling business cases, incorporating financial modeling and ROI projections.
- Strong experience in change management, navigating organizational complexities, and driving adoption of new initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, E-commerce).
- 7+ years of experience in digital retail and/or retail media, with a demonstrable track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of various retail media channels (online and offline).
- Experience with marketing and e-commerce technologies.
- Extensive background in trading and/or retail media sales.
- Proven consultancy and/or project management experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent Dutch and English speaker.
