Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a versatile and creative copywriter to join our team, focusing on developing compelling customer advocacy stories for a major tech client’s customer advocacy programme. The primary goal is to craft inspiring narratives that highlight the transformative power of our client’s technology in driving business success, empowering people, and shaping the future of responsible innovation.
The copywriter will play a critical role in bringing to life the human stories behind the technology, capturing how businesses and their leaders leverage our client’s solutions to make impactful changes at both cultural and societal levels.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the creative development of customer stories for the client’s programme, a marketing communications engine that was curated to showcase business transformations through the use of innovative technology.
- Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to gather insights and information necessary for building the narrative.
- Write compelling customer stories that focus on the people behind the technology, detailing the positive changes enabled by the client’s tech solutions.
- Adhere to the brand guidelines, writing all content in American English, while ensuring alignment with legal and compliance policies.
- Provide editorial leadership, guiding, proofreading, and approving the work of supporting editors involved in the programme, ensuring high standards of content quality.
- Create a range of supporting written assets to promote the case study, namely:
- Internal and external email announcements
- Sales-oriented documents for internal use
- Social media captions and content for visual assets

Address client feedback in a professional manner during review rounds, ensuring the final output meets both client and customer expectations.

Occasionally write video scripts for customer stories featuring video content, collaborating with video production teams.

Act as the creative lead during video shoots, which might involve travel.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience in writing customer advocacy or business transformation stories, with a strong focus on storytelling that highlights human impact.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to build rapport and confidence with stakeholders, along with a solid understanding of trending technologies.
- Versatile writing skills, capable of producing long-form articles as well as shorter promotional content such as emails, social media captions, and sales documents.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to various writing styles as needed.
- Familiarity with the competitive landscape in the tech industry, allowing for strategic positioning in written content.
- Experience in handling client feedback professionally and maintaining high-quality output under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of video scriptwriting and experience working on video production is a plus.
- Native Level in English
Bonus points if you have:
- Enthusiasm for big tech solutions and an ability to grasp the concepts behind them, even without in-depth technical expertise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly for tasks that entail client engagements.
- Experience working with tech brands and compliance guidelines would be a major plus.
Please note that this position is based in Lisbon, Portugal and it’s mandatory to work from the office 2 days per week.
