Who we are looking for:

VML seeks an enthusiastic critical thinker and problem solver Financial Accounting Senior Analyst to immerse themselves in one of VML´s most prestigious accounts, responsible for conducting thorough monthly and annual accounting analysis and ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. 

What you'll do:

  • Monthly Closing: Perform tasks related to monthly financial closing, including expense accruals, fixed asset amortization, and analysis of expenses and revenue.
  • Analytical Review: Conduct monthly analytical reviews to prepare reports for the Controller and CFO.
  • Account Reconciliation: Analyze monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Compliance: Develop and implement controls to ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Annual Financial Statements: Prepare the company's annual Balance Sheet, including notes and annexes; prepare working papers, cash flow statements, and other related documents.
  • Audit Support: Provide support to external auditors during the annual audit process by fulfilling accounting requirements.

What you’ll need: 

  • Educational Background: Degree in Accounting or related fields (graduated or close to graduation).
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • English Proficiency: Intermediate or Advance written and conversational English (not mandatory but desirable).
