Key Responsibilities: 

As a Senior Business Consultant Digital Shelf and PXM (Product Information/Experience Management) you are a key player in our business architecture, implementation & adaptation programs. You are an expert in the Digital Shelf leading our client projects. You work with diverse teams at the client and are responsible for the business value and outcomes of the program within a team of program managers, business analysts, architects, and account directors from VML.

 

What you will do: 

In your day to day job you will focus on clients’ business needs, challenge them based on previous experience and translate them to roadmaps and requirements. You actively advise the client’s project team and sponsors based on information gathered during workshops and interviews that you prepare and lead. You act as the expert on the Digital Shelf.
 
Your deliverables can vary from input for strategical decisions for program stakeholders to descriptions of use cases that are ready to be refined and implemented by your team members. You are a strong voice for the client’s business objectives, the people at the client’s organization and their customers.
 
You actively look for business opportunities and can explain the value to our clients. You support the new development teams in pre-sales activities to grow our client portfolio. With your expertise you create proposals and do pitches at international prospects.
 
Being part of the PXM Centre of Excellence within VML you have a responsibility to support developing new PXM propositions and communicate internally and externally about the practice.

 

Who you are: 

  • Business Analysis | You focus on gathering clients’ business needs, challenging, advising them and translating them to requirements. 
  • Facilitation | Preparing and leading in workshops & interviews, to understand the business, product structures and business processes.  
  • Agile methodology and Scrum| You translate requirements to epics and user stories on a backlog and make sure the backlog is prioritized, so that the development team has enough work prepared to run sprints.   
  • Documentation Skills | Clear written communication skills in for example process and workflow visualization, data modelling, user story writing, workshop & training materials and functional specifications 

 

What you’ll need: 

Your knowledge:

  • In depth knowledge of Digital Shelf, Product Information/eXperience Management, MDM, product life cycle management, retail media and/or digital shelf analytics
  • Knowledge about conceptual PIM principals (Data model, content creation processes, syndication, data pools, analytics)
  • Knowledge of PIM/MDM governance, data quality and meta data management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Digital Shelf & PIM/PXM solutions, Digital Asset Management, Analytics, Generative AI  and Workflow
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms, OMS, ERP and the involved processes
  • Understanding of standards and compliance (GDSN, CLP, Food & Drug industry)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile/scrum
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Digital Shelf solution

Your experience:

  • Minimal 7 years experience in...
    • Digital Shelf, PIM/PXM
    • translating business needs to requirements in multiple projects
    • multiple projects in PIM/PXM and preferably also DAM
    • with developments teams
    • multiple integration projects with complex business lines, complex product structures, complex interfacing, different locales and different languages
    • business process modelling
    • team management, planning and estimation and client interaction.
    • Agile/scrum projects

The basics:

  • Bachelor's degree in (Technical) Business Administration, Information Management or related studies 
  • Flexibility to work in our office and our client’s location when needed. 
  • Display excellent communications skills (in English), and ability to engage with stakeholders involved and ability to captivate your stakeholder's engagement in both online and offline meetings. 
  • Currently living in The Netherlands, within a reasonable commute distance.
  • You have a valid work permit or the legal right to work in The Netherlands without a visa application.

  • A salary range of €50,000 - €70,000 gross/year, incl. 8% holiday allowance.
